Once upon a time, I got married to a swell guy and it was a fun day.
Here are some pictures & links on this blog that I haven’t used in a very long time. Tra la laaaa…
We got married at Public Landing Restaurant in Lockport, IL on October 17, 2015.
My dress was made by Paula Stanton and purchased through her Etsy shop, Retro Vintage Weddings.
My hair & makeup were done at Mint Salon in Lockport, IL.
My whimsical hair pins & earrings were from BHLDN.
My nails were done at Elevation Spa in Madison, WI.
My best gal bridesmaids were a beautiful mix of mix matched dresses from Nordstrom, Weddington Way, etc.
Men’s attire was Vera Wang from Men’s Wearhouse.
Floral centerpieces, corsages, & boutonnieres were done by The Works Florist based in Carol Stream, IL.
Bouquets were made from dried hydrangeas from my parents’ yard and put together by my mom and Oma.
Cakes were provided by Orland Park Bakery via our all-inclusive contract through the Public Landing venue.
Invitations and programs were created by the amazing 3 Eggs Design Etsy shop. She’s based in Australia and was definitely one of our top 3 vendors.
Favors were some minor DIY-ed ‘chocolate frogs’ from Gail Ambrosius Chocolatier in Madison, WI.
Seating chart was a Pinterest tutorial found, here.
Decor like this ‘family tree’ was also Pinterest-inspired.
Our ‘Always’ cake topper was a wooden sign purchased from Michael’s and the text transferred via these directions.
Photography was done by Dulce via George Street Photo.
Our DJ was David William Fuller – DWF. He was great and made us a customized mix of ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You’ for our first dance song that started with Frankie Valli and transitioned into the Lauryn Hill version halfway through. He made an amusing promo video you can view, here.
